10-29-2017 - Scratchboard Zentangle

This past week I created a Zentangle tile on a scratchboard tile.  I drew Paradox, Cadent, and Msst.  I purchased these 5" x 5" scratchboard tiles at Hobby Lobby.  I look forward to creating more Zentangle tiles in the future.

Zentangle Play Date - August 10, 2017

I had my first Zentangle Play Date yesterday with my friend, Cheryl.  I introduced her to Zentangle. I posted the tiles we made above -- hers is on the left, mine on the right.  She did an excellent job!!  I had a great time and look forward to the next Zentangle Play Date!!

I cannot believe it has been 1 1/2 months since I created this Zentangle-inspired art.  I never posted it to the blog.  It is composed of Cadent, Paradox, Inapods, and Cubine.  I used Sharpies fine point pens to draw the design.

Even though I had difficulty drawing Paradox in the beginning, it has become one of my favorite patterns.  It never ceases to amaze me how a straight line can looked curved.

Not quite a Zentangle . . .

This is my latest creation -- not quite a Zentangle, but nonetheless a work of art.  I used ink pens, gel pens, and Sharpie markers again and again and again . . . .
